General Notice

Marathon County, Wisconsin (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

Marathon County Ice Arena – Rink 2 Ice System Improvements

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Marathon County Parks, Recreation & Forestry Offices located at 518 South 7th Avenue, Room 085; Wausau, WI 54401, until Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 1:00 pm local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work:

In general work consists of selective demolition of some components of the existing refrigeration system and providing new components for the refrigeration system. Work includes demolition, concrete, rough carpentry, piping, insulation, refrigeration equipment, electrical, controls and related items. In general the existing concrete refrigerated ice rink slab will remain in place. An Owner furnished roll out rink piping system will be installed by the Owner on top of the existing refrigerated ice rink slab. The roll out
rink piping system will be connected to the refrigeration system by the contractor.
